Behind The Wheel Training For Teens in VA

Behind The Wheel

Behind The Wheel training for teens in northern Virginia

When it comes to driving, we cannot overstate the importance of having actual, on the road, behind the wheel experience as a part of your driving training.  The information you can learn from classes and books is important, but even if you have all the knowledge in the world about how to drive, the most important improvements in driving skills and safety occur when that knowledge is put into action behind the wheel.  In fact, behind the wheel training for teens in Northern Virginia is so beneficial that most insurance companies will give a discount for teens who have completed our driver’s education program.

Teens, especially, need behind the wheel training.  They tend to either be overly nervous about driving or overly confident.  Both nervousness and over-confidence can lead to accidents and driving tickets.  Behind the wheel driving training helps teens to gain the confidence they need to perform under the pressures of being on the road.  It also helps over-confident teens learn the skills to go with their confidence as well as learn to respect the risks involved with driving, thus making them safer, less impulsive drivers.

Our trainers will work with your teen driver, coaching them through each behind the wheel lesson.  Our goal is to provide a comfortable, encouraging atmosphere for our behind the wheel driving training lessons.  To help with this, in addition to the friendly demeanor of our instructors, we have duel installed brake and gas pedals in all our vehicles to insure your teen is safe and comfortable while they learn to drive.  Be sure to include behind the wheel training in your teens driving instruction.
